Delete Setup and Generated Objects

Step type: Simple user interface.

Step description: Once the DTS project has been successfully finished, the DTS objects generated on the system must be deleted before the transport uninstallation. This step deletes all generated objects of the current run ID. The step execution asks you to confirm the deletion, after which the deletion is executed in a background job. You can monitor the process via transaction SM37. Do not forget to execute the deletion on both the source system and the target system. This process is irreversible.

To clean up multiple run IDs, you can use transaction /DVD/DTS_DEL. To do so, select the run IDs for deletion in the ALV grid and click Delete (Ctrl+F8).
